Danny curled up on the couch next to Niall, giving him a slight smile.
"So, since you stayed, what should we do?" She asked looking over at him. Niall thought for a minute then smiled.
"How about a movie? It is getting a little late to do much else." He said. Danny looked out the window to see the sun setting. It looked so pretty with the autumn leaves in the trees.
"Alright, which movie?" Danny asked, climbing off the couch and over to her stack of movies. She flipped through a few then smiled slightly once she saw the perfect movie.
"How about Nightmare on Elm Street?" She asked holding up the disk. Her friend had given it to her but she was too afraid to watch it alone. Now was the chance to watch it with Niall.
"Sure! I love that movie." Niall smiled, leaning back in his seat. Danny smiled back and put the disk in the DVD player before jumping back onto the couch. Niall got up and tuned off the lights.
"Wanna know what would make this even better?" Danny asked him, pausing the movie before it hardly even started. Niall chuckled and looked over at her.
"What would make this even better?" He asked curiously smirking slightly as his baby blue eyes locked on Danny's green ones. "Popcorn." Danny answered, smirking along with him before hopping up off of the couch and into the kitchen. Niall chuckled slightly then stood up walking over to help her. Danny pulled out a package of microwave popcorn and smiled up at him.
"This going to work?" She asked, holding up the package, the plastic wrap around it crinkling under her fingers. Niall laughed that same familiar laugh Danny had heard in webcams video diary.
"Of course, popcorn is popcorn." He gave one last chuckle before leaning against the kitchen counter as Danny opened the package then put it in the microwave. There was some silence while you could hear the slight pops of the kernels.
"So why did you stay here? For a girl you just met." Danny asked in somewhat of a quiet voice.
"Because, you had obviously had been through a lot today and I think you would much rather have some company for the night than sit here alone." Niall said in a serious tone. Danny looked up at him thankfully then looked over at the microwave as it beeped. She took it out and poured the hot popcorn into the bowl.
"Thank you." Danny whispered as she walked passed Niall, holding the bowl in her hands. Niall walked right behind her then they both sat down, pressing play on the movie.

The movie had moved to one of the scariest parts and Niall couldn't help but smile honestly. Danny noticed somewhat but ignored it, She had been scared so easily during the entire movie. Danny covered her eyes with her hands but separated her fingers so she could see. Something jumped out of no where with the most terrible looking face making Danny jump. She couldn't help it but bury her face in Niall's shirt. Niall was a little bit shocked but rubbed her back gently.
"You're alright, Danny. I promise." Niall whispered in her ear soothingly. Danny lifted her head and her face turned completely red and she moved away from him.
"Oh, I'm sorry." She said quietly, moving a piece of hair from her face. Niall kept his eyes on Danny then slowly slipped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer.
"I never said I wanted you to move away, you're fine." He assured her, Danny looked at him slightly surprised then leaned against his shoulder.
More of the movie had passed and Danny's eyes started to get really heavy. She gently let her head fall on Niall's shoulder and he smiled down at her.
"Tired sleepy head?" Niall asked softly, pulling her closer. Danny nodded and opened her eyes smiling up at him.
"Well then you wouldn't mind if I did this?" Danny looked up at him confused but before she could say anything Niall took her face in his hands gently and kissed her softly.
